Leica Camera Store project - Sydney

Client Brief/ Requirements

  • Design a camera store with identity characteristics of Leica brand.

  • Target audience is all camera enthusiasts and fans of Leica.

  • Photo exhibition space of customers in the store.

  • Redesign the product display space..

  • Completion time is 2-3 weeks for construction and 1.2 weeks for design.

Concept and Features

The Leica store space design solution is inspired by the brand's older cameras. The design language of the store is a combination of modern style and furniture items inspired by old cameras. Leica's main tone of white, black and red are retained and symbolized in the whole space.

After discussing and accepting the agreement from the investor, the main product display area will be redesigned and create a highlight for the entire space. In addition, opposite and near the entrance is a photo gallery area for famous artists who use Leica cameras to create these photos. In this area, the designer creates free compositions to give a highlight to the exhibition space.
